I’ve seen a few things recently regarding political campaign spending, so I thought I’d revisit some of the data on spending versus election outcomes.

Two relevant points and they’re both quite simple:

1) You can’t buy an election (first link below is a great source of data specifically on this point), and

2) Democrats and Republics each raise and spend about the same amount.
