Yahoo is on a hiring spree.

But note that they’re not hiring across the board, they’re hiring for specific jobs and projects. Presumably, they’re hiring for those things that are actually useful for the future of the company.

Some of this is in very specific and strategic areas, like mobile, whose staffing has grown by a factor of 10.

That is: it’s not a general stimulus, it’s targeted.

Oh macro, why must you be so bad whilst many people actually think you’re useful (this comment/question will make no sense unless you’ve clicked on the link above)???
