Jim Cramer has this to say about the guy who drove hedge fund manager Doug Kass to quit Twitter:

“a stock manipulator who has gone rogue from outfit.”

A stock manipulator…

Maybe Cramer would like to explain what that means, to be a stock manipulator. As a trader (either an individual or an institution) you either are the market (meaning you’re doing the lion’s share of the trading) or you are insignificant in the market. There is no middle (at least, not in the long run and probably not even in the short run given that “short run” these days is probably something like <1 second given high speed trading). If you’re insignificant then you’re not manipulating. If you are the market, then manipulation is irrelevant.

Anybody who talks about manipulators is whining about boogeymen.
