One of the great (in pretty much any sense of the word) benefits of giving the Federal government as little power as possible and delegating control to states, counties, and cities (or nobody) is that individuals can vote with their feet – they can move to places with the kinds of rules and regulations with which they agree.

And so Iowa City might be the place to go if you really dislike the idea of automatic, autonomous ticketing for “qualified traffic violations”.
