What does winning the lottery called Life mean? Basically that you’ve been born in the USA.

While I am always more impressed by the abundant data that shows that individuals more up through socioeconomic brackets over their lifetimes, this aggregate data (link above) is also compelling.

Why is this data important to look at? Because it establishes relative standards and baselines. It shows you an answer to many questions that end with the very important phrase, “…as compared to what?” This data (ought to) help one think clearly about certain issues commonly debated.
