Don B alerts us to this excellent article by Bryan Caplan on why he believes the minimum wage is harmful to low wage workers. It is excellently reasoned and presented. In particular, Caplan does a good job of presenting – implicitly or explicitly – those points upon which he could be proven wrong. This is a key aspect of a rational hypothesis: you have to know and present to others how your hypothesis can be proven incorrect.
