A bubble – it happens to be in real estate – is about to burst in China. Top-down control of the creature known as “the economy” doesn’t work, not even in China. The economy is too complex – it is made up of the entire population of the world; or, at least, in this case, all of the people of China. There are too many variables to control. If any country could do it, the Chinese could. They can’t. When will we learn to stop trying. Order emerges whether we want it to or not.
