Here’s a nice article in the NYT about robots invading all aspects of manufacturing and warehouse life. Lots of productivity increases. Lots of cost savings. This is awesome. This is the future.

Jobs will be lost. Jobs will be created. The jobs that will be lost are repetitious, stressful, painful, tiring, and injury-prone. The jobs that will be created at creative, thoughtful, entrepreneurial. The world will be a better place as the transition happens. Agricultural revolution. Now and for the foreseeable future: robot revolution. A lot of wealth will be created. This – specialization, division of labor, productivity gains – is the road to prosperity.
