To be sure, I speak to quickly. This current plan to get Philadelphians to eat more healthy is only in its infancy. It has not yet failed. But the evidence – and there is evidence, see the article – is entirely (as in 100%) in the corner of: this plan, too, will fail.

Access to healthy options is not the key to solving obesity (see the article). Proximity to healthy options is not the key (see the article). What is the key? I dare say nobody knows. Individuals do what they do for an uncountable multitude of reasons. No master planner will ever figure this out.
