Kathleen Parker gets an exclamation mark for this brilliant post on the destruction of justice that is embedded in the criticism of the possible future Supreme Court decision on Obamacare. She explicitly highlights the failure of an ethos, espoused in the quote below, that might makes right.
The quote, which, I believe, is probably a singular piece of information that anybody needs to vote against Obama:
“Speaking in the Rose Garden, Obama said: “Ultimately, I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.””
Or, to paraphrase: the mob shall rule and nothing like a Constitution or Supreme Court shall stand in its way!!!
“Features distorted in the flickering light
The faces are twisted and grotesque
Silent and stern in the sweltering night
The mob moves like demons possessed
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right
Confident their ways are best”
